For this task, imagine that your local preschool organization has asked you to present information on childhood obesity. The attendees will be directors and administrative staff, personnel, and parents from the major preschools in your area. Be sure to make your PowerPoint presentation relevant to the particular ethnic or cultural diversity in your region.

Include the following in your PowerPoint presentation:

• The prevalence of childhood obesity
• The impact of childhood obesity during childhood and later life.
• Factors that contribute to childhood obesity (such as nutrition, family life style and example, exercise, cultural attitudes toward child eating behaviors)
• Strategies for use by schools and families to prevent childhood obesity.
• References to at least one resource on exercise and lifestyle changes for children and one resource on nutrition formation, for later use by the participants.
• A reference page

Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as speaker notes for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.

Support your presentation with at least two scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included.

Length: 10-12 slides (with a separate reference slide)

Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide
