b. What is the primary hypothesis or proposition of the article?
c. What research methodology and methods were employed in the article to support or deny the hypothesis or proposition?
d. What conclusions did the authors find?
Finally, answer the following critical thinking questions:
1. If students are placed in special education classes as early as Grade 1, are we effectively enacting the labeling theory and essentially setting these youth up for educational and, potentially, social failure? Why or why not? Explain your response.
2. Considering all that you know about delinquency causation, why would being disliked by peers predict bullying?
3. The authors suggested using self-reporting as another means of measuring this data. If you were to recreate this study, what methodology would you use and what methods would you use to answer the research questions? Explain your design and why this is the best approach in your opinion.
