There are three short answer questions and one essay question. The short answer questions should be 3-4 sentences and the essay should be 4-5 paragraphs.
Short Answers:
- Explain ONE cause of the fall of the Roman Empire.
- Explain ONE immediate effect the fall of the Roman Empire had on western Europe.
- Explain ONE long-term effect the fall of the Roman Empire had on western Europe.
Essay:
- Develop an argument that evaluates how the techniques of imperial administration used in Han China (206 B.C.E.–220 C.E.) and Imperial Rome (31 B.C.E.–476 C.E.) were similar/different.
The essay should be an argument, not just displaying evidence. For example, you could argue that Rome’s technique of imperial administration was better than that in Han China because… I have attached the essay rubric below.
