Kinship involves blood relationship which includes family ties, consanguinity and common ancestry, it comes with characterizes of sharing a common origin. Kinship organizes the principles of a society because it provides a reliable system of social organization in the community. It acts as a guide in the upbringing of an individual based on the morals of the the African society, people are dived and assigned specific tasks which they perform in their day to day running of their the African culture, daughters and sons of one’s aunt and uncles are considered like brothers and sisters rather than cousins. People who are closely related care about each other and avoids violation of individuals rights which promotes living together as a community rather than individualism. In the African culture, the nephew is a woman’s brother’s son or a man’s sister’s son, the African culture restricts it to the son of one’s sister if one is a male and one’s brother if one if female. A family member is responsible in shaping one’s life through advice and basic support (Quayson, 2013).

Every African society has some form of descent group and an ancestor whom they associate with. This forms clans; they can either be matrilineal or patrilineal and are the members who are born from one ancestor. Patrilineal is the common in many African societies than matrilineal and is only limited to some countries and forms the members who can trace their actual kinship links between themselves. Kinship creates the sense of belongings in the society and such a group can claim its right to clan and lineage property which is shared by the community.

In the nineteenth century, many nations were created most of them through war fare; tis brought violence, different ideological confrontation. This led to many migrants travelling to new countries. The growth of technology and improved transport system promoted more transnationalism. Africans travel in western countries in search of greener pasture, this promotes the availability of cheap labor which in turn spear head the economy growth. When Africans work in foreign nations, they send a lot of funds in the in their home countries which boosts the economy of the home country. Transnational can also involves becoming a member of a political party in the can even go to the extent of running for a political office which helps in transfer of norms and ideas .transnationalism as also led to growth of capitalism through the increasing function integration of capitalism chains across borders (Books, 2010).

Transnationalism has been viewed to be caused by poverty and other factors like overpopulation and even economic stagnation but there are some countries which lack significant emigration theory despite their poverty stand, they shows that many Africans do not migrate due to those factors alone. Africans do not migrate because of embodied in their home country, instead they are rooted in the broader geopolitical dynamics .migration affects the whole dynamic of components of capitalist, globalization and market penetration and thus proves the existence of structural relation between immigration and globalization. This has been caused by the emerge of global market which has contributed to the creation of potential emigrants which leads to formation of cultural, economic and ideological link between industrialized and developing countries in Africa which serve as a bridge to these emigrants (Quayson, 2013).

A migrant can a subject as well as an agent of transnationalism through engaging in transnational practices and activities to a certain level. All the migrants do not there life is of transnational character and crossing a border has been easy due to the globalization some situations, the second and third generation are more involved in transnationalism more than their grandparents who migrated. Someone who engaged in provisional migration will perform different transnational activity than the ones who migrated permanently. For the formal and formal migrants’ networks and Diasporas can execute both transnationalism and can facilitate transnational connections. When approaching migration in transnational point it is always important to bear in mind the different type of migrants, like those involved in temporary migration will conduct multiple transnational activities more than a person who is a permanent migrant. Africans who stay in foreign countries will always follow up on the situation of the home country (Quayson, 2013).

They will always find how the family members are doing back in there country. This creates connection for them in the both nations. People who are moving to a foreign country for other purposes like education or retire will have different transnational experience. Irregular African migrants also consider specific attention s as they are less likely to engage in transnational and tend to face great barriers due to less access to factors that could facilitate their contribution across the border. The African community politics plays a key part in both the transnationalism and internationalism in Africa. The political stabilities of these countries may lead to migration. Although many countries do not have stable political situations there citizen do not consider migrating and only interact rather than abandoning their home country. African countries work together to consolidate their political economy (Books, 2010).
