Learning Objective: Apply marketing strategy concepts to current/past employer by performing a brief SWOT analysis & evaluate another student’s.

Instructions:

1. Choose a current or previous employer/company that you have worked for. Briefly describe the company and the industry
2. Complete a brief SWOT analysis, identifying at least 2-3 bullet points for EACH letter: S, W, O, T (Remember, that W and T must be external to the company)
3. Identify ways to leverage strengths and mitigate threat
4. Reply to another student’s LEVERAGE and MITIGATION ideas. Do you agree/disagree with their points? Do you have other ideas for how to leverage strengths or mitigate threats for your classmate’s company? (I won’t be able to send this reply until after I post my discussion.)
