Now that you have read a few of Flannery O’Connor’s short stories, examined them in our discussion forums, reviewed my lectures on those stories (hope so). A good starting point is devising a clear thesis statement with a plan of development to help focus your online research and to guide your essay drafting. Here’s what you must do.
- Choose one Research Project prompt (attached below), choose the story that you would like to compare/contrast with “A Good Man Is Hard to Find,” and the three literary devices that you will compare/contrast between the two stories. Then create a thesis and plan of development for your research project.
- In this forum, you must either post your introductory paragraph (hook, background info, possible quote, and thesis and plan of development) or just your thesis and plan of development.
